The cover art shows a figure in a flowing red robe, riding a skeletal, menacing creature through an abstract, otherworldly landscape. The mood was primitive and apocalyptic, with futuristic undertones, so I wanted a typeface that was part ancient, part sci-fi: runic letterforms, familiar yet alien. ILL is the abbreviation Sonny uses for Skrillex, hence ILL-TYP. A typeface from the distant past, or the distant future.

A3+ is digitally printed on 265 gsm Pro Photo Gloss paper - 32.9cm x 48.3cm
A4 is digitally printed on 230 gsm archival gloss paper - 21cm x 29.7cm
